Automated AI investment finder

I listened to Richard Koch on Tim Ferriss, read The Star Principle and 100 Baggers, then spent a day dumping every NASDAQ ticker into Airtable. 5,000 names. Eight matched the filters. Back to 2019 that set was about 346%, call it 47% a year. A couple 10x'd. One went bankrupt.

The book team was 40 or 50 people and months of work. I have not put money in. I might put $5–10k on each of the eight, just to run it. One of them is already up 10% since I built it. This is the job: public data, APIs, filters.

The Star Principle: niche leader, 20% growth

Koch is a UK investor. First cheque into Betfair: £1.5 million to more than £100 million. He wrote The 80/20 Principle. The follow-up is how he finds those outliers.

Leader in its niche. The niche growing at least 20% a year. And that growth still looking like a decade at that rate, not one or two years. He made the Betfair investment without using the website. He can bold text in Word. I like hearing from people who do not think like I do.

100 Baggers: $1,000 to $100,000

A friend pointed me at 100 Baggers. A 100x in a reasonable window. Most of the historical set did it in about 15 years. Some in eight to 12. $1,000 today is $100,000 then.

They reverse-engineered the names that actually did it: profit, P/E, debt-to-equity, return on equity, founder-led or a CEO with real equity so the interests match. Most were under a $1 billion market cap, about $300 million on average. A $300 million company going to a few hundred billion is a different problem than a $10 billion company going to a trillion.

They said a team of 40 or 50 people spent months on that dataset. That is the sentence that made the bot obvious.

5,000 NASDAQ tickers in Airtable

I pulled every NASDAQ listing. Data from Seeking Alpha and Twelve Data. About $300 of API credit. I have used maybe 10% of the quota.

Same filters as the books, as Airtable views. A day of work. 5,000 names down to eight. Then I loaded history back to 2019. If I had bought those eight five years ago: about 346% total, roughly 47% a year. A couple 10x. One bankruptcy. For a 100x hunt you only need one in ten.

You could run the same pull on other US exchanges, micro caps, the UK, Australia, Argentina. Argentina keeps showing up.

I want the data in my own base so I can add sources. Airtable has interfaces. It has relations, so you can compare a name to the rest of its niche on one dashboard. Off-the-shelf screeners exist. I would rather own the columns.

Search, LinkedIn, social, and insider trades

Google search volume on the company, or on a keyword it can sell. A breakout is a signal.

LinkedIn headcount through the API: key hires, key leavers.

Social growth on the official accounts, assuming they are not buying followers.

Insider trades: are the executives buying or selling.

None of this has a model on it yet. I could hand a price jump to ChatGPT and ask what news hit that day. I have not done that.

Take the analyst jobs AI is about to eat

Everyone knows analysis is on the replacement list. The useful question is which of those jobs you can run yourself.

I built the 50-person study in a day and I have not even put a model on it. Automation is not only Reels posting and TikTok trend finders. It is any large public dataset with a rule.

I am trying to stop selling hours. Time, skill, and capital on a small number of high-leverage screens.

The same screen for crypto

Those APIs already cover tokens. I care about Bitcoin and a couple of names. Small-cap coins are not my thing. If your thesis is "founder shipped a winning token before," that is a filter. Same base, different columns.

I will walk the Airtable template in Automation Academy. Not financial advice. Books plus filters.

Go where you are treated best

The Trump shooting was a reminder of how fast the US, and the West, can look broken. I left the UK at 22. I am 28, 29 next month. I moved to Eastern Europe. Better in some ways. Its own problems.

Nomad Capitalist: go where you are treated best. I wanted the UK to stay in the EU. I had no vote that mattered. I can change country. I have been through 70 or 80 of them looking for that. Location freedom, time freedom, financial freedom. If a law changes I can be on a flight the same day.

My father worries about climate, government, politics — problems he cannot move. I worry about health, time, money, and the people next to me. If you hate the taxes or the crime, leave. I dropped UK tax residency and went somewhere cheaper. A friend put it the other way: money also goes where it is treated best. Delaware used to be that for US companies. After the Musk case, less obvious.

$600–700k still sitting in Georgia

I have not been back in about 18 months, maybe two years. I first flew at 23 because a developer was Georgian. A month became four years. The Instagram agency became the largest at the time: about 70 people in three months, 140 at the peak. I ran it two years and sold my share to my co-founder.

I still have an apartment, a car — the other one blew up — phones, a pile of devices. A bit over $500k sitting there. What you own ends up owning you. Sell the lot and I can free $600–700k into markets.

Georgia sits next to unstable neighbours. Invaded in 2008. Protests after a Russian-style law. Ukraine and NATO; Georgia has talked about NATO too. I hope none of that happens. I have friends there. I do not want capital parked in a place I will not fly back to.

If the world gets worse, time freedom matters less than being able to move. I would rather the money work than sit in furniture.

Two device farms still run. UK: real phones, about 400 Instagram accounts, maybe 100 still active while we waited on unique Reels. That is solved now. Georgia: almost 3,000 accounts. Same stack.

Gratitude, first class, and the factory floor

I am in a villa with a friend who also invests. The house is not the point. Walking the beach with Marcus Aurelius is better than another purchase.

First class is a good example. First time is huge. Third time your baseline has moved. Someone who has only flown business will still love business. Dan Bilzerian said if the meal is not the best chef in the world it feels bad. That is a trap.

A friend who does well spends a week a year as a barista in a mate's coffee shop. 9-to-5, on his feet, nobody knows who he is. He comes back grateful he does not have a boss. I have never stayed in a hostel. For a lot of people that would be the trip of their life.

Ambition moves the goalpost. Earn more, want more. I spent my first job at 17 or 18 cleaning floors in a furniture factory and loading vans. No qualifications. Plenty of friends were told they would not amount to anything. The useful habit is noticing that this is already a different life.

Hey guys uh hope you are well to kick off with the uh weekly update it actually starts off with a podcast that I listened to at the start of this week and this was an interview between Richard Koch and Tim Ferriss Richard Koch is like a UK investor he was the first investor in Betfair and he turned a one and a half million pound investment into and over 100 million pound was his his final return and he has like a few examples of similar returns into his investing career he's

Also the author of The 80/20 Principle the book so I would encourage everyone to go and listen to that um that entire podcast he has a lot of kind of like key insights on like life setup life structure investing money analyzing companies um looking for extreme companies that have um potential for like extreme returns which he refers to as the star principle which is how to identify these types of companies so uh after listening to them I went and listened to his other book The Star Principle to look at finding the these types of of companies to

And basically like things to look to to identify for anyone interested are like companies that are like the leaders in their particular Niche and that Niche needs to be high growth so it needs to be growing by at least 20% per year uh and on top of that he needs to be able to see that there will kind of be continued growth in this Niche it's no good if the if it will only grow at that rate for the next like two two years or like one to two years he wants to see like potential for like 10-year expansion at at that rate

And there's a couple of other things as well but yeah also another another interesting book um I also really like that he's technically illiterate so he made that investment without ever using the the website because he didn't know how to to use it so he basically said like you know he can maybe put something into bold in in a Word document but he's got no idea how to use like he's just not technical like what whatsoever so I always like to get interesting perspectives from people that that have like a a like very different skill set very different experience to mine

So I can kind of challenge my my own ideas uh as well and then after I spoke about that book I kind of mentioned this concept to a friend of mine who's an investor and he recommended me the book 100 Baggers which I also listen to and 100 Baggers is basically companies that have done a 100x within like a reasonable time frame so let's say over like 20 years or or so so if I put in $1,000 today that would be worth 100K in and some of them did it in like eight to 12 to even like

Yeah 8 to 12 years most of them were like in around like the 15-year range so if I put in $1,000 today in 15 years time it would be worth $100,000 and basically they went through and analyzed all of the companies that have historically achieved such returns as this and trying to basically reverse engineer to understand how can how can they identify companies in this day and age that replicate uh that type of growth and the whole time that I was listening to this book I mean they basically give various different like metrics to to look for in terms of like profit

Um P/E ratios debt to equity ratios return on Equity um that they achieve per year well it should be a founder-led uh business or the owner the CEO of the company should have Equity um in in the business so that they have mutually aligned interests of the investors most of the companies were below a billion dollar market cap in order to achieve uh they they were around like 300 million on average um so in order to achieve the like 100x return it's much easier if it's a smaller company is much harder for like a a $10 billion company to go to a trillion dollars rather than a $300 million company uh just to go to

Like a few hundred billion they were like kind of the key things to to look for and they basically at the start of the book they say that they spent a load of time they had a large team of people I think they said like 40 or 50 people to kind of analyze this data set to kind of work out what are the what were the outliers that achieve th those types of returns uh and and they invested a lot of money in order to kind of to get get this data

And I was just thinking this is literally the perfect thing to do that automation uh is is suited for so I spent the week building out a Airtable basically investment finder this is kind of a perfect example of just demonstrating the power of Automation and not only that but how automation can be applied into almost anything things like this there are apis for financial data I can you can there's apis um there's a few out there one like Seeking Alpha and another one called Twelve Data uh and I pieced a few of these different apis together I extracted the entire

Um NASDAQ uh every single listing every Ticker on the NASDAQ Stock Exchange um but you could also I was just building this out to test it but you could also do other stock exchanges within the US uh you could look at doing micro caps you could look at doing uh countries like I was looking at doing the UK um perhaps Australia and Argentina um as well Argentina keeps coming up on my radar at the moment actually dumped all of these into an Airtable and you can just extract all of the data on apis to work out all of these different ratios that they're using in a 100 Baggers to see which companies fit into this

Investment criteria you could also use like the Richard Koch star principle that I mentioned where you look for companies that are receiving 20% growth um every single year and it's a leader in its Niche it can all be automated and so that's what I spent this week building out Gathering all of these ratios to basically find companies that fit with Within These investment principles from these books I was reading and it's very very easy to do with within Airtable you just need to know what are the specifics they're looking for in these companies

And you just apply filters in in Airtable views after reading that book I built this out it took me about a day to build and I analyzed the 5,000 companies turned me eight companies that match these investment criteria and then I backdated that to work out if I had invested when because I obviously only just built it so I I then added in all of the DAT the historical data uh up 2019 to work out what would my returns have been if I had invested in these companies five years ago

And it would have been 346 um on average they were returning I think it was 47% or something per year there were couple that did really really well that got like 10x plus over that time period there were a couple of losers there was one company that went completely bankrupt so that that would have gone to zero but the point is is if you're going for these 100x companies you only need to be right on like one out of 10 of them to just see in insane returns um so again I think this is like really really interesting

So I'm expanding on this as well I know that there are also like investment tools and for kind of doing stuff like like this as well but to be honest prefer to have complete control over the data because I can add in other things as well so I had a few ideas when talking to a friend of mine you could add in Google search data for these specific companies that you're tracking and having like keyword related um track keyword specific Search terms related to this business and if you start to see a breakout in a specific search term

Um that that company is able to capitalize on or it could be the search term of the company itself that could be a positive indicator and you can also extract and track all of the LinkedIn employees of that company again all automatically just using LinkedIn apis to look for any like kind of key changes well or any like key hires that that they make or people who left can also add in social media tracking so I thought this could be quite interesting to track the social media growth the average social media growth of these specific companies

And if they start to see a breakout in social media followers coming in that could also be something interesting to track assuming that they're not buying um buying fake followers of course and by the this isn't me like kind of saying this is something that is going to make you uh Super Rich I've actually not put in any any money into this yet but I am going to I think just for the fun of it maybe I'll put like I don't know five or 10K into each of these companies that that are recommended

And I actually wish I had done because one of them is up 10% since I I built this um so it all looks like it appears to work so I'm I'm going to like try this out with like a bit of money and then and then add in my own kind of spin onto things as well but the reason for talking about this is more just kind of highlighting the possibilities of of automation we know that a lot of jobs are going to be replaced by by AI we know that analysis uh is going going to be one of them essentially what I'm talking about here analyzing these ratios between different companies it is

So easy to replace like I've literally built this out in a day and then this book they said that it it took them months and they had like 40 or 50 people working on this uh in a day I've gone through through the same data set that that they have all automated and I haven't even plugged in any AI into this yet so we could also plug in AI to um look at maybe historical price changes in in the in the company and ask um GPT just to do a search for us on like

Um was there any news or was there anything specific that caused a price jump or a price decrease um on that particular day I also added in insider trades so we can add in we we can track are are the executives are they buying or are they selling the share which can be an interesting indicator as well so and yeah so and I just love to build out this stuff on Airtable because you have complete control over the the um the data that that you have and we can plug in all different like apis on top of that as well we can

Also do Airtable uh interfaces as well and also we have relational databases for the specific sectors so we can actually do analysis on what are the ratios on this particular business what are the um how do these metrics perform compared to similar businesses in in the same Niche or again just within one dashboard and you can get access to this data I think for these apis I paid about $300 to get access to all all of this information and I've still got I think I used up like 10% of my API quota

So what I'm saying is with this like AI shift instead of thinking ah all of our jobs are going to be replaced by AI I think a really smart way to approach this is what are the jobs that are going to be replaced by AI and how can I do them so how can I basically have a team of like 40 or 50 analysts but instead just build that using Ai and and automation so I feel these are like really really really um High leverage positions uh sorry High leverage

Um like opportunities and of course before I mentioned about like changing my kind of main focus instead of just kind of like trading my time and working for money instead just just being very very smart with my time with my skill set with my resources um and I feel this is like a really interesting way to do this so kind of the point is when you see this Automation and stuff the reason that I feel it's such a superpower of a skill set to have is because it doesn't just apply to like you know tracking social media accounts tracking your teams real through posting building out Tik Tok Trend finders automation can really be applied

Absolutely everywhere and this is a great great example of this so I'm going to continue like building this without adding in more like data sources and just kind of like refining um a little bit further but um I will be taking positions based on and by the way the reason I actually had this idea is because it's exactly the same as a trend finder and I've built out quite a few Trend finders now we're essentially analizing large data sets and trying to work out what are the trends what are the IG Reels that kind of stick out from from the rest of the crowd how could how can we apply that how can we apply

A trend finder to basically a stock Trend finder it's literally the exact same like logic and principles but instead of reverse engineering the Instagram algorithm we are trying to reverse engineer um High performing stocks but the benefit of that is all of the information for stocks is publicly available like they they publish it and there's apis for that whereas how Instagram's algorithm actually works is all hidden and behind the scenes and we have to try and reverse engineer and guess at how it actually works based on on the data that

Um that that we have where with the the stock market everything is like publicly available to you this can also be applied by the way to crypto um all of these same apis they actually have like cryptos so you could export I mean personally I'm not a fan of this um I am a fan of Bitcoin and a couple of other tokens but I'm not really interested in like small-cap coins but of course like you can make a lot a lot of money doing it but it's not really my thing

Um but like anyone could kind of build out you know a trend finder for um for new crypto tokens and if they have their kind of thesis of if if um the token matches these specific criteria it's worthy of an investment it could be that the founder has run a successful token before uh whatever it may be um you can add in all those filters on Airtable based on the publicly available data uh and you could basically make large scale like have large scale analysis of all of these different tokens uh

And then make investments from from there other than that I've been working on and this was something really interesting for me to build by the way and I I'll be expanding on more in future I'll put it as well in the school automation Community how this was actually built and I I can share the template as well and like the Airtable and kind of walk through everything and how everything kind of comes in together but again this isn't financial advice this is just uh me taking investment principles that I've read in different books

And applying Automation and AI to them and and and leverage um in fact I guess to talk about like first is like the the Trump situation um I don't really like to get involved in in politics um but for me this was like I knew that like the world is a pretty much a mess uh at the moment uh I don't mean to sound negative but like we've just never been closer to kind of World War III uh a lot of the things I see in the news every day are just like insane I don't even read the news like you soon they just kind of like popping up or things that you hear about

But I think this Trump shooting was kind of like the biggest uh wakeup call to a lot of people of how much like the US has has fallen um not just the US by the way like I I literally like the UK I I left um many many years ago because like the UK is going downhill as well I left when I was about 22 I'm 28 now 29 next month the West is is kind it's just just going downhill and and I I moved to Eastern Europe uh and things were like a much better much better

But still has its own like set of problems but like point is is um if you are like unhappy with uh there's like a really interesting phrase by like Nomad Capitalist of um go where you are treated be and this is so simple and such an elegant saying but it applies so so well if you are unhappy with the current situation in whatever country you are in um be it like the government that that's picked or the uh and this is why I said I don't care about politics because

Um when the UK left the EU I was uh very against that I wanted to stay within the EU but I know that I have no power o over this um over the situation I can't change anything so the only thing that I can change is my reality I can choose to change countries and to go somewhere where I agree with the direction uh with with the leadership and I feel that I'm treated well um and that is like kind of the beauty of of Life assuming that you're not living in like a dictatorship where you're not able to leave the country country if you're not happy with anything you are able to do something

About it you can go into a different country you can go and live somewhere else we have kind of and like of course you need location Freedom which is why I think the most powerful thing to have in your life are location Freedom time freedom and Financial Freedom um because if you're not happy with something I can literally change the situation if if a Law changes or the government changes in whatever country I'm in I can be on a flight the same day to to go somewhere else where I feel that I'm I'm treated better

Um and I spent a lot of years like traveling around I think I've been to about 70 or 80 different countries looking for places to to live where I felt that that I I was treated well um and then when I'm not happy with like if something changes that I then disagree with you you have complete ownership and complete control of your life um although a lot of people don't take ownership and control of their life you always have the option there to do so um and that's that's exactly what I do

And a perfect example would be like my father who uh is quite negative um and just complains about things that he has no control over about global warming about the government about politics about about anything um like you know high level problems where he has no impact input or no impact on on these issues so My Philosophy is why worry about them um instead worry about the things that you do have control over your health how you spend your time your finances and the people around you the people that you care about taking care of of them

And making sure that they are are comfortable but other than that it's selfish it um like my uh my view is very much care about me and care about like the the people around me and don't care about like The Wider issues because I I can't I I don't have any any impact on them um leave them down to like the the government and like the certain like authorities to uh to handle those issues and if you don't like the way that they're they're being handled you know social issues the the way that the government is handling anything crime in your your country or whatever taxes if you don't like it you you can you

Can leave uh and you can go somewhere else where where go where you treated best again that's why why it's such a An Elegant but true saying and a friend of mine mentioned to me as well that money also goes where where it's treated best which um I also thought was another really interesting way to look at it uh if you look at an investment if someone's able to get a specific return like a high return on something money gets allocated um money gets put where it's treated best that applies to countries to for example for taxes how many people when they start to make money start looking at

Um you know offshore setups I know I certainly did of relinquishing my tax status within the UK um to go to a more tax friendly uh country you can also have um tax friendly businesses uh if we for example we saw in Delaware in in the US uh generally um money and business is treated better in Delaware although that's now actually questionable after the whole recent Elon Musk situation um but it it would have always been a trend for like companies to incorporate in in Delaware because they know that they're going to be treated better compared to other states

So again very simple but very very elegant um elegant saying and and very true so the reason for talking about that is I am currently looking at moving away from from Georgia I haven't actually been back to Georgia for I think close to 2 years now it's definitely been about 18 months um because when I first moved there uh it would have been about six six years ago yeah I moved there when I was 23 and everything just happened so quickly for me at the time I was running a software company

And the reason I went there is one of my developers was Georgian so I flew out there and I thought I can go and work with him for it for a month or or so a month turned into four years um I ended up making an Instagram marketing agency out there that became the largest uh Instagram marketing agency at at the time we had about 140 employees and we just saw like tremendous growth it grew to about 70 employees within three months um and just kind of could continued to to grow from there

And my I I worked on that business for two years and I exited from that company I sold back to my co-founder and but I had an apartment I had some cars in in Georgia and I had a load of assets and a load of phones and stuff but the time has now come basically because of the global landscape uh I think that to be kind of adaptable and truly location independent I mentioned before I really feel like what you own ends up owning you and I probably have a bit over like half a million dollars in capital tied up in Georgia in terms of apartment uh cars or car actually the other one blew

Up but um and then phones and just like things around the apartment instead to free up that capital and have that money working for you and Achieve um even further location Independence it's like the move that I'm currently looking to make so I'm I'm yeah basically looking at like freeing myself from from Georgia over like the the coming like months or two that's quite a big priority for me because Georgia's located basically in a very interesting geographical location it's kind of surrounded by unstable countries uh Georgia was also invaded by 2008

And basically if things were to kick off it's quite likely it would be in that part of of of the world uh of course like I hope it doesn't Georgia also had massive protests because there was a Russian law passed and um just uh about a month or two ago um that the people were kind of very against and the reason for the invasion again I I don't want to get too political but the reason for the invasion of Ukraine is because uh Ukraine was looking at expanding into NATO Georgia is

Also trying to I don't think Putin is going to be too happy about that so it's just a tactical move for me did not tie down any of course I absolutely hope none of this ever happens I have friends in Georgia and so on um but just for me to like move my uh my resources out of a country that I'm not sure about the um and not not even just Georgia I'm not sure about the kind of the global future particularly if like World War III does start to happen which I unfortunately do think is a possibility at the moment I'd say we've never been closer to it than we are right now if

We're not already seeing the start of it so again it's never been more important for a man or for anyone uh to to have location freedom and and Financial Freedom if there's World War III I think time Freedom becomes less of a priority but um the ability to move around the world into and have the financial freedom to be able to do that so if something does go wrong you can be the first person on a a private jet to to safety but yeah like again sounds all very negative I hope this doesn't like none of this does happen it's more just I I don't feel like going back to Georgia

And I have a lot of uh capital and resources kind of tied up there that I can free up and put put into Investments yeah other than that I've been like we also have two farms at the moment by the way we have one Farm in in the UK which is a fully automated Farm again on real devices but just just running uh automation on those devices uh and we also have a farm in in Georgia in Georgia we manage about almost 3,000 Accounts at the moment 3,000 IG accounts in in the UK it was about 400

But I think only 100 of them are active at the moment uh because we were waiting to solve uh unique content on Reels which we have now solved and yeah I guess that's another interesting thing as well we have also solved unique content for Reels uh using a couple of of of different different strategies yeah and again just to go back onto like the selling the apartment in Georgia what I was also mentioning I think in the last video about having like minimalism in my life really questioning the utility

And purpose of your belongings is this something that really delivers value into your life consistently or is this like unnecessary baggage and it was actually when I was going through that as a process that I realized uh Georgia and all of my stuff in Georgia kind of falls into that category I can maybe free up like 600 700k of of capital um to deploy in into Investments and markets and have that money working for me rather than causing um yeah rather than just having that that money sitting there I can conf up that that money I've

Also been spending more time with friends you'll notice behind me a lovely uh Villa um by the beach with a nice swimming pool I've been here with another friend of mine who's also an investor as much as I'm in like a a great Villa here and money it's great to have like Financial Freedom in terms of like the happiness I just realized more and more for me comes from like the the simpler things in life it's not the Villa itself it's not the uh it's not that stuff it's like being around

Um high-level interesting people is where most happiness comes from but just like the the kind of the the simple things like anyone can have those um can can can enjoy those same experience just just being with like friends and so on the other thing I think I mentioned already so I'll stop going on about this but just walking on the beach listening to like I don't know Marcus Aurelius wisdom from 2,000 years ago feet in the sand um sun shining like waves coming in just brings for me more pleasure than uh more happiness than any again depends on your definition of happiness

But more yeah more pleasure I would say than any purchase can can kind of Bring me um anymore so like an example of this at the moment is like I said I'm traveling about to fly back to London and looking for like a first class first class this is just like such an interesting analogy the first time you do it is amazing it's like amazing experience the next time you do it it's great but it's not as good as the first time and then the third time it's still great

But again you've just done it and so what starts to happen is like you um your Baseline level of expectations kind of increases and this applies to a lot of different things with money again I've spoken about this this before and the problem is basically what if someone is to fly business class and and they've never done it before they're going to love that that experience still it's a great experience everything is great but in my mind it's just not as good because I I've had something better before and

So you kind of get stuck in this like toxic trap this toxic cycle of um yeah of uh of needing to always like push the boundaries and I actually heard Dan Bilzerian talking about this and there's basically a limit to to how much to to what you can buy and he was saying that you know if he's not having like a meal cooked by like the best chef in the world like the highest quality dining it's a bad experience for him and it becomes a trap that you kind of need to to find your way out of which I'm

Also also working on um at at the moment to not kind of like Cloud your um yeah to not like Cloud your kind of expectations of things uh and to say that I need the best in the world or else it's like a a bad experience I just feel it's not a very good place to operates on so I've been thinking of kind of like ways to do that and and like one of them would be to um basically of ways to to feel gratitude again so I have a friend of mine successful guy

And his friend has a coffee shop so every year he would go and ask his friend to go and work as a barista for a week like this is a guy who makes makes great money and he would just uh want to go and work yeah in a coffee shop for a week he would be doing the 9-to-5 job he'd be working hard he's on his feet all day um making coffees for people no one knows that he's like some successful guy and he would say it would be the best experience

Because he would find this new level of gratitude for his actual life um and the fact that he doesn't have to work in 9-to-5 and have a boss tell him tell him what to do like really really interesting Concepts so I think there's things like that that you can do I've also never stayed in a hostel in my life as well which is kind of like bare like I guess lowest level cheap living but maybe I would go there and have like a great time so I'm thinking of like these different ways to kind of

Um because yeah again like the other analogy is right is that then I'm I'm saying for me like staying in a hostel would be a bad experience but there's people in in the world who are like dreaming of just going traveling or visiting a different country and if they were staying in a hostel it would be like the best experience of of their life and then there's other people who don't even dream of leaving the country because they are not able to and I am living like a a life where I just do what I want travel where I want stay wherever I want in like the the nicest places in in the world

And it wears off and it shouldn't so what I mean is kind of like going through a process of resetting like the the dopamine and like the expectations to to find um to really appreciate the the life that you have to find gratitude again in everything that that you do which leads me on to the next point I think I've spoken about this before but gratitude is just something that keeps on appearing more and more in in my life that um that if if happiness is your main goal in life I believe that it starts with gratitude if you're not happy W with what you have there's nothing wrong with wanting to change your situation

But for example if you're not happy with the amount of money that that you earn at the moment Moment by simply having your goal of you want to earn more money what you'll find is when you reach that goal it's the goal post simply change you'll realize that that you're not happy with that level of earnings as well and you're always kind of pushing forward as well this is also the curse ambition which uh I think most people who are entrepreneurs are ambitious I I certainly am the curse of ambition is when you achieve the goal that you want simply by the very nature of being ambitious you you set new goal

And you don't take too much time to kind of actually appreciate where you are and and and and and what you've achieved and like the the life that that you're kind of kind of living so I'm now making more of like a conscious effort to really every day show gratitude and appreciation even it can be appreciation myself as funny as that sounds but for the years of sacrifice I kind of put in um for like the the life that I I built myself so like my first ever job was working in a Factory in a furniture manufacturing uh Factory they would make like wardrobes

And um and uh K kitchens and things like that and I was like the the lowest person there um and that was uh that was 10 years ago I I I would have been 17 18 when when I I was working there and to see how much my life has changed from then in 10 years my my job was literally cleaning the floors and carrying stuff to the vans for it to be delivered out to um and I was the only person who did that I was like the the the the lowest person in that job

And to see and I've got no qualifications and school I've spoken about this before in my life video maybe I should do an update on on that um but uh yeah just appreciating and I again I I don't give this as like a sympathy story I think everyone kind of has the same story all of my entrepreneurial friends who were kind of told in school that they wouldn't amount to anything did uh simply because they couldn't they didn't fit within the the system the system um they were told that they wouldn't amount to anything

And um I I have so many friends that have like the same kind of story as me similar yeah similar kind of starting you know starting from from nothing and just seeing this isn't the life that I want and instead just just building something else and you should take time to appreciate and be grateful for for how far far you've come and for this um for for the the life life that you have so um yeah um guess we'll leave it on that uh on that note I'm feeling good feeling happy feeling grateful

And I wish the same to
